Night sky and moon’s star eyes watch over
With the ever vigilant eyes of the sentry;
Faraway thoughts fill my heart
And I long for you.
Night sky that closes in
Turning my world into a quiet that talks
To the primal beast within;
And I need you by my side.
Night skies with the roll of thunder
Talking in deep voice in the distance
And flashes of light as the lightning forks down
Ever searching.
The whip crack and roar of thunder overhead

Mistress of the darkness
Lurking in the shadows... Emptiness aches from deep inside.
She roams through the night In a never ending quest,
Searching the hearts and souls Of those that pass by her unknowingly,
As they go about their lives.
An eternity of searching...
Searching for that special something That always seems to slip from her grasp.
Searching for a kindred spirit That knows her pain from within, Yet has the innocence to believe, to hope.
